| Hey. I own a 1995 Caprice wagon, nothing special. It was previously owned by a NH State Hospital. its not pretty, but it runs great, hauls a, and gets 19MPG...can't complain.
i have had the wagon for about a year and a half and i just found this place...
I am not new to longroofs, i owned a 1963 Ford Fairlane Squire wagon in HS and college. I currently also have a 1969 Cadillac Hearse.

-Mike If it were a Canadian Hospital your wagon would have been Government ordered, making it a low numbered 1a2 model. Welcome, love to see pictures of both your cars, Lorne.

| Now thats a HEARSE and I LKIE it.If all hearses were painted like yours, people would be dying to ride in them.Bet you are popular around halloween.Your caprice wagon is sharp looking, very clean.Needs a set of SS wheels and tinting! |

| Thanks for the kind words on the wagon, but that picture hides all the flaws. There isn't. A straight panel on it. Tons of scratches, dents, scratches, rust, rot, etc.
The hearse on the other hand is such a fun ride.

| i picked up another wagon last night... It's a white 1995 Caprice LT1 totally rust free and only has 113K miles. runs a little rough at idle and stumbles on acceleration, but my gray one did the same when i first got it. i plan on swapping the cooling fans from the gray one to the white one (the white one has a clutch fan, and i am not a fan of it) picture time: | |

| looking through all the paperwork that came with it, i have the window sticker and the original sales receipt.
I was reading the fan swap thread ad didnt want to clutter it up or start a new thread about the swap. but i have a question: Is it possible to pull everything i need from the car with the electric fans and swap them to the new one?

| figured out the rough idle problem. whoever did the plug wires ran the drivers side rear plug wire between the block and the exhaust manifold, but didn't feed it through the protective bracket. the wire came out in two pieces.
no more check engine light and a smooth as glass idle.

| Welcom to the forum,This is one of the best forums for good tech info. I like your hearse, how many miles on it and what motor does it have,it must be a big cuber to smoke the tires like that! ed

| Ed, the hearse has about 94K on it. it's got the factory 472ci...375hp and 525ft-lb from the factory. it is getting worn though, might be lucky if there are 150 of those horses left in her.
