| Well, it's already clean, has a recent Castrol GTX High-Mileage oil change and doesn't need gas at the moment. I did wipe off the air cleaner and put some tire dressing on this morning. | |

| That must be one good set of factory ign. wires that you have. After you replace them you better be careful with the accelerator petal, you just might smoke those tires the first time you hit the gas! Congrats on the 250K,I am sure you played a large part in reaching that milestone. ed

| Have you owned the car since new? I love the motor. Did you remove it for paint or just strip it down in the engine bay? | |

No, I bought it in 2001 for $2850 and it already had well over 100,000 miles on it at that time. The car's been real good. The transmission's been gone through since I've owned it and just this year the original starter and water pump needed replacing. Other than that, a set of tires, two batteries, two fuel pumps and a power window motor round out needed maintenance since I've owned it. I bought some front pads and caliper hardware a week ago too as I've never messed with the brakes on this thing yet. So I'll do that and the plug wires. On the engine, I just stripped everything off the top while it was in place, cleaned and painted it.

| Congratulations. That car earned those plug wires. Just don't keep 'em on there until 500k miles tho. Planning to have any kind of party or anything like that? | |

| Congrats! My OCC is currently at 239,68X so I should be hitting that mark in about 10 months myself. Wife's daily '94 RMW is in the 217s right now. | |

For the most part. Sometimes the controls act like they have dirty contacts and don't respond well. Just have to keep poking them. Also, every once in a while the display goes blank but a quick fingertip tap on it brings it right back. Guess the radio is just getting crotchety in it's old age. I had forgotten but this past Spring the right rear speaker quit but I had a spare from a long-ago junk yard run that took care of the problem.
