You need a shop press. For fronts, or rears (you didn't specify).

Im assuming front if your meaning front end of car or rearend of car, they are visible inside engine bay. Ive done everything from uppers and lowers, centerlink and may still do pitman arm. My frontend is squatting like the rear of a lowered bug and wearing out tires inside tread badly. If its too much effort I can have a shop do it but hate throwing money away.

Those would be the front upper control arms. Worn control arms would have nothing to do with your car "squatting". That would be springs. Effort or not, you need a press or a special tool to push new bushings into control arms.

You did "uppers and lowers"... balljoints? Also, your pitman arm is not a wear item, your idler arm (along with inner/outer tierods, and center link) is.

Yeah upper and lower bjs, and centerlink. What started the whole flight of the hundo's was an alignment job, and your right jayos I shoulda said idler. I like the front ride height as is, new springs are gonna kill that. The only reason I thought the bushings was because the frontend is squeeking like bad bj's. Thanks for helping guys

Old bushings can squeak. You can not grease them, so if the rubber is loose, it can squeak. If the front is sitting low, and you are getting tire wear on the inside, you probably need some positive camber. The rubber in the bushings can fail, and if it is missing, it can cause negative camber issues. Before you check your alignment make sure your bushings are in good condition. You also have to tighten the bolts/nuts for the bushings with the suspension in its running position, under load, or the car will sit high, and the bushings will be under load at all times. This can lead to premature bushing failure.

The easiest way to remove the driver's side upper control arm, is to remove the studs from the frame, then it will come out without removing the intermediate steering shaft. The right side is easier. As stated above, you need a specialized press for the upper bushings. Lowers can be done with the proper tool rented from most auto supply stores (free).

There are a couple of threads on how to do the job on the forum.
