| I'm new here to this forum. I picked up a 91 caprice wagon last fall. It had a tired tbi 305 and 700r4. Over the winter I swapped in a LQ9 6.0 out of an escalade and a 4L60e from a silverado. It moves out quite a bit better than the old motor. I'm still getting some bugs worked out (no speedo/ fuel gauge) but it is on the road. Looking forward to getting some more info off of here. Thanks | |

| Glad you made it here. I would really like a detailed description of what it took to do the swap along with some pics please. It's something i have planned for one of my cars,.
Thanks

| Thanks. I am using a stock ecm and wiring harness that was converted to a stand alone. I am using a truck intake that I shaved down and a H3/musclecar pan. I had to put a skid plate on it for how low the car is so I wouldn't take off the pan. I have to get taller tires right now. I'm running 225-55-16's on the car now. | |
