Ok, I have been saving my pennies and I'm now looking for a set of 235 60 17's to mount on my Impala SS rims to put on my 94 RMW. Whos running this tire size and what brand are you running, and how do you like them?

That is the size I run on my wagon. I am running Goodyear Assurance ComforTred Touring and am happy with them. It was a hard to decide between them and the Michelin Primacy MXV4 (which I ended up getting for my daughters car).

Had these on the Impala SS wheels on my '96 Roady. Just an FYI, that was the standard size tire on Mustangs for a few years, and Ford used Pirelli P-Zero Nero tires. For a while there I could find tons of new taake-off's in the local mexican used tire shops, and ran those on my wagon. They rode very smooth, but tended to wear fast...it's a soft compound and our wagons are HEAVY.

I switched to Goodyears the last time around. Found a good used set, and wore MUCH better than the Pirellis. I was told they were the same one used on the police cars.

Good luck!

The Mustang/Crown vic size is 235 55 17. They work fine, I've run both the Goodyears and the Pirellis. Shorter than stock, though.

I run 235 55 17's on my wagon.  Love the size and easily available. I have been through several sets including the Michelin Hydro-edge (which wore very poorly).  Currently running a set of Rinken Raptors I picked up used.  They were new car take offs from a Mercedes that I found on Craigslist.  They ride and perform well.  They are a cheap performance tire, summit sells them for $99 each.

Rinken Raptors were on a new Merc, maybe I had better reconsider that brand!I have 2 brand new 235/55/17 goodyears RSAs on the porch and those raptors are all over CLs for cheap money.Maybe I will buy 4 raptors and use the RSAs on something else.
