| Went to mom's house yesterday to help her move some stuff in preperation for new flooroing. She shows me a stash of old pics she recently found. This is Sept. 1977. I was 2. I remember going to Applegate Chevrolet here in Flint with Dad to get this beast. New 1977 Impala wagon. Red with red vinyl interior. Bastard seat, hubcaps, 305.....the works!! |

| my folks had a 80 chevy caprice estate, with a 350 olds diesel engine in it. light gold metalic and tan cloth seats. loved riding in it on vacation to grandparents in south georgia. trans issues with the car alot. | |

| I still have a set of those hubcabs. I used to run them on my 87. They fell off all the time. Used to pick up replacements here and there. I stopped counting at 12, and ran bare steelies. | |
