New member here. I bought my Cowprice wagon back in 2010, my third Caprice (had an 81 and an 89 or 90 forget, last box sedan). I am an old TV repairman (currently auto tech at Ford/back up career) is why I have always loved vans and wagons (to carry TVs and whatnot). I had plenty of Chevy Vans, a couple Pontiac wagons, some Aspen wagons....I originally set out to buy a Vette for 15k or less, and quickly found what I would be getting and not. So, after some research, I set upon getting a Caprice wagon. Always like the look of the bubble cars and wanted one. I am about ready to move this wagon and get a 96 Caprice, but for now, Rocky III is my daily driver. (like a rock song and joke-accelerates like a rock, handles like a rock, etc.) Actually, my Caprice is pretty great handling, as are many of yours, I am sure. The history on my car, was that I went to Danville, Va. and bought it after test driving it. I bought it from Davis Auto Sales / Auto trader ad, first sighting. The original owners were the state of Va. DOT car, sold to Florida DOT, then back to Va. DOT, then turned in when all the big cars were turned in. And, obviously saved from the mass massacre that so many had gone through.
