| I posted the CL ad for this car a few months ago, the seller wanted $1500 for it. This car was bought from Fred in 2007 I think, it was from Florida and had less than 60,000 miles on it. The owner drove it through 2 winters up here in NY so it's not Florida clean anymore, but it's far from NY nasty. It has 69,000 mile on it now, and a friend of a friend bought it a few months ago just for the engine and transmission, I brought it home to finish the part out. Most of the good stuff is already spoken for that's why it's not in the parts for sale section. The car probably could have been fixed, but the shop estimates were $4,200 - $5,800 and the seller didn't have the cash, the insurance co. only gave him $2,600 for it, and he bought it back for $320.00. The interior was very nice until the friend of a friend got it, and threw all the parts he removed from it and didn't want, inside the car. He apparently let his kids play inside, and practice removing parts, so there are some broken trim parts and crayon markings everywhere. It seems that it was used as a ash tray too, lots of ashes and a few burn marks on the carpet. It did clean up pretty good, better than I thought, so here's some pics. I'm not the only one here that washes their parts car, am I? | |

| Can't believe it got all that surface rust under it after just two winters up there. Amazing and sad!
I really hate to see one end up like this, but at least you are getting the useful parts off.
And yes, I've washed many parts cars...even worse, they were Chevy Citations.....

| The car sat in the grass for a year and a half too, so that didn't help the rust issues either. Still, it's much cleaner than anything we usually around here. | |

| Actually looks like the owner made a effort to keep it pretty clean underneath until the accident!Still a damn shame. |
