| Since I didn't have a photobucket when I registered I never posted pics of my car. A few of you asked me to post pics so I finally set one up. Not sure if this is the right place, but her goes. This is the day after I bought her And this is 3 days after I bought her, long story short woman in Honda ran a stop sign. She was t-boned in her passenger side, continued to accelerate jumped the curb and hit my car parked in our lot at work. Believe it or not this accident totaled my car. And here is how she sits now, 17" torq thrust II's painted satin off white. Wheels were very neglected and would not polish well because they were very pitted. | |

| Looks nice. Like the white wheels.
And yes, even minor fender benders will total these cars :-(

| Yeah the cop on the scene was rather surprised at how bad the honda looked. But I replaced the radiator, oil cooler lines, and pulled the radiator support forward and it was good to go. | |

| So that's what happens to a Honda when it plows into a solid wall of steel! | |

| You now get to put a little Honda sticker "H" sticker under the driver's window to register your "kill" You need a total of three for an award from the forum.

| Yeah I was thinking of getting a sticker that said Honda killer, but I like the little H decal in the corner. Surprisingly the honda did mange to move my wagon over about 3 feet when it hit. She was hauling @$$ when she hit it though, WOT and she never lifted. When I went outside right after the accident she was still sitting in the car with her foot on the gas holding it to the floor.
My boss thanked me though because if my car wasn't parked there she would of taken out at least 2 customer cars we were repairing. So it was a blessing in disguise I guess.
thanks for the kind words fellas

| Nope he said that was my project, but hey I would rather do it myself anyways so I know it's the way I want. But I do get to use the shop, and supplies to fix it so I can't complain. | |

| Zach, So how did that work out with the insurance co? If it was totaled, did they pay you and you bought it back as a salvage title? Or did they pay to fix? Maybe we need OBAMA-CAR-CARE? Dick | |

| Went smooth with the insurance got a week with a rental, and cost me $250 to buy it back from them. No change in the title at all don't even think they even reported it too carfax. It only gets a salvage title if it goes to the salvage for scrap, or at least that's how it works in Illinois. I got double what I paid for it from the insurance company even after they took out the cost to buy back the car. | |
