Are those connections for the rear window release and rear window wiper/wash? The cat prob says I FAIL.

I have no clue what they are for, which is why I ask. I've been getting an instantaneous code 43 on my ECM which is the knock senor or module there of. In theory it would appear after about several seconds, but not immediately. I'm thinking it is disconnected, or not functioning at all to be instantaneous.

So, I'm wondering if I forgot to hook something back up that accounts for this, or if these are just unused for twilight sensor, or as you suggest. Haven't a clue!

That's what I'm thinking based on the location in the dash. I've got a couple switches laying around, I can look at the back this weekend if ya really wanna know.

plug for the power rear vents

I wasn't aware there was such a thing as power rear vents. I thought they were all manuallly opened? What models/years was it available in?

Don't listen to Pat, he's messing with you. The power rear vents is one of those mythical options no one has ever seen. Well, with the exception of Pat's custom job.

LOL! No, his 93 has power vents. I'll let him tell you about it. I think it may be in his thread here I'm not sure.

in the time prior to my 93 actually getting power rear vents were there not rumours that some OCC's owner's manuals not show a picture of a switch for the rear vents between the rear hatch release buttong and rear wipper controls on the dash?

I'll check my owner's manual and report back.....

As to the original question. I happened to have a spare with wires. I think this is what you're missing!

Well, I think that's pretty definitive on the subject. Snce Shammoo doesn't have a rear wiper or washer, and the gate button is hiding elsewhere, that would explain why it's just hanging around back behind the dash.
