1996 RMW Shutoff Will Not Start

I started my RMW to warm up in my driveway. It had run about 10 min but before leaving it shutoff. Went to restart and the motor spins, then stops. Cycling the key off then back to start the motor will spin for a couple of seconds and then the motor will stop spinning until the key is cycled off then back to start. Any idea where to look?

Test battery first. Voltage, then load test. Confirm that battery connections are clean and tight. Then, remove and test starter.

Battery is good

Does it crank at "normal" speed or is it slow/sluggish?

When it stops cranking, is it a sudden stop like you just let off of the key or does it stop slowly like a dead battery?

Any extra clicking when the key is in the crank position but the engine has stopped turning?

I'd start looking into any one of the several anti-theft measures incorporated. I'll see if I can dig up some of the schematics for the starting circuit to lend a hand a bit later this morning.

I've got the two schematics, but can't seem to upload them (says they're corrupted or too large, neither are the case that I can see?). And I can't post links until the end of the week because I just signed up.

Assuming the passkey light does not light up on the dash when this happens - the theft deterrent relay in the right kickpanel might be going bad, or the theft deterrent module in the left kickpanel could be doing it as well.

Maybe wiggle the key as you crank it as the resistor in the key sometimes gets flaky, this would (should) turn on the passkey light though.

Is it exactly the same amount of time that it cranks each time or does it vary some?

It is exactly the same amount of time that it cranks it does not vary It sounds like it does 2 revolutions and stops cycle the key two revolutions stops
