1996 Caprice Classic Sedan (if B-Body Sedans are allowed)

Looking to part ways with my 1996 Caprice Classic Sedan. 60,000 original miles.

LT1 engine with tow package (includes posi and heavy duty cooling and suspension). Everything works - Hot Heat / Cold AC. No rust on the body, surface rust on some underbody components. Service records going back almost 20 years. Original window sticker and owners manual. The car was in a minor front end collision and has a replacement hood from an different car so the paint on the hood is faded and the bumper cover is torn. The rest of the paint is excellent but does have some scratches & dings.

I am open to reasonable offers. It find it tough to judge the value of the car - the low mileage is obviously super rare, but the mismatched hood obviously takes away from that value.

Reason for selling is the classic 'I have too many cars (5 total right now)'. I've owned it a couple of years and barely drive it. Intended to get the body work done but also haven't gotten to that so karma is trying to tell me something.

GLWS. agree it's a tough one with the faded paint. did you look into just getting the hood and bumper covers sprayed to match? I'm kinda in a similar place as I have a car I want to sell, but in order to get any real money out of it, I need to spend money on it (not what I want to do)....

I have looked into getting it sprayed to match, but it is always a little tough with the smaller jobs like this - most shop just want to do insurance work. That and finding a shop you trust.

Once I get off my duff and make some practice sprays we can paint it pretty cheap.
