I know a shot in the dark, but anyone have or know where to get a TH400 crossmember, for my 92 Caprice wagon? Dan at CIA used to be able to get them, but no more. I know I can get one fabricated but thought I would look around first.

I'm not sure if it can be modified or not. I'm putting a 454 in with the TH400, so the mount locations are different. I know there are tubular options that would be good to use

If the TH can be bolted to the crossmember, you can make new mounting holes in the frame. I am considering a 4L80, and it is about 4"longer than the 4L60. I am going to drill new holes and reuse my modified original crossmember.

Thanks, I'm going to try to use the OEM crossmember.
