Can I use the inner fender well panels for a 1994 RM sedan on my 1996 RM wagon?

I found some inner fender wells......mine are rusted, from a '94 sedan. Will they work on my '96 RMW?

The rusted ones I have now are black and they are on a gold RM wagon.

The reason you can't use them if they are black, is that he needs a pair in black and wants you to sell him the ones you have found.

OK....I get it. This is some sort of initiation. A loony bin for folks that like,buy, and drive RMW's.I'm happy to be one of you now! The prodigy son has come home.( or somthing like that )
I got a '96 with 47K the other day and want to sharpen her up. I need to start with the inner wells so that any road crap stays outta the engine compartment. After that, I'll work of the details.

So.....I gotta tell the guy that is 2 hrs away that I can or cannot use those fender wells. He's willing to take them off the sedan once I give him the go. Black, pink, pea green, it doesn't matter to me as long as they will fit and I can use 'em.

And YES, you can use them. As long as they're not black.

Go ahead and try making your calls to Nashua. I have a guy who'll cut their phone lines down and THEN go to lunch! He doesn't even need to know who. He'll whack service to the whole town.

Which explains why I have access to 3 complete sets of the black, rust free inner fenders....... Nobody wants them

Oh boy.....I can tell after less than 8 hrs or so....this is gonna be a lotta fun! Alot more fun than I've had with the RM so far anyway. A guy asked me tonight if it fits in the garage ! Hell...I told him it barely fits in the &(#)*#) driveway. Gotta love it!

all kidding aside, the inner fenders from a RMS and those from a RMW look very similar, but they are shapped slighty different on the outter lip where they attatch to the wheel well lip on the fenders since the sedan and the wagons have differences in their front wheel well opening

The RMS wheelhouses do not fit the wagon.

When you find a set of Caprice sedan/wagon or RMW wheelhouses, you will have fun swapping them. Be careful around the AC hoses, they tend to interfere with the passenger side wheelhouse at the condenser. The LT1 wheelhouses are all interchangable except for the RMS and FW. The LO3/5 wheelhouses are all interchangable, again, except for the RMS and FW. You can use LO3/5 in an LT1 or vise versa, but you will have to drill/fill a couple of mounting holes for accessories. You probably should get the battery tray while you are at it.

Do not loose the shims where the bottom behind the wheel is bolted to the body.
