Just finished watching Top Gear!

Roadie KICKED BUTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Yeah baby! Build it again!!!!!

I really like the artist sketch of the new Roadmaster.I knew we would win but I thought we were going to be the
fastest to 60mph too.Hate to see one of our wagons being mistreated but I was damn proud to see it going down
the interstate at the end of the show.
Hope the show makes it but kinda doubt it!

Figures a common white with woodgrain and tan interior would be featured, geez, half of the Roadmasters on the road are like that! Looked like that tired '94 had an open rear. With a posi, bet it would have made it up that 60% grade!. I gotta see what an '87 Fiero did in the 1/4 mile. Beat my stock '96 Roadie's 15.54 @ 88.6 m.p.h. , doubt it.

While I cringed at what they did to that roadie, I was happy to see just how well one our yachts did. Long live the B-body!

Guess I'll have to hit youtube later and watch it.

I felt bad for that car. LT1...dang. Hate seeing them torn up on purpose.

I felt bad for the Fiero too. Could they have not found a POS Tech 4 with an automatic? They had to destroy a V6 car with a stick? Over the washboard that poor car nearly came apart...sad.

I loved the concept. as long as its a v8!
it does suck to see a roady mistreated but, our cars kicked ass and won and rutledge is a real wagon guy.
i dont put too much stock in the 0-60 time because we dont know how tired the car is and if it had the 2:56 rearend....those are slower to 60 (i know...mine is 2:56)

I hated to see the wagon trashed but It was kind of worth it to me. I got my wife to watch that episode and now she has new found respect for her LDM. She was still bragging when the show was over. She also told me if anything like the concept is ever built we need one

Hey Kraz this is a new show on the history channel every sunday night at 10:00 eastern.The test with the eggs was
hilarious but I Knew the roadmaster would win.I laughed at how surprised Rutlidge was when not one egg broke.
Like I said I was damn proud when that wagon was going down the interstate at the end of the show.

The episode was alright I suppose. Hated seeing both a B body wagon and an old school Cutlass get trashed. Very stale acting/hosting all around on the 2 episodes I have watched.

Cliffs. They stopped on a 20% grade and put the car in neutral and applied the parking brake. They exit the car and grab a Bowling Ball and re enter. Only the RMW passed this test. 0 to 60 test, Fiero won. Wet slalom course to see who could spill the smallest amount from 10 large lidless soda cups. RMW wins. Strap a basket of eggs to the roof and drive across a washboard to see who breaks the least amount of eggs. RMW wins. Fill vehicles full of water and see who can drive the farthest before the water empties to below the steering wheel. Fiero wouldn't even start. RMW wins.

Thanks for posting that. We don't get cable, so it's the only chance I had to see it.

The moral of the story seems to be that if you take one car from the 1970s, one car from the 1980s, and one car from the 1990s, the newest car wins. I wonder what would have happened if they had included a 2006 Silverado.

That is the truth. I almost puked when that Fiero pulled up. I have always hated those things, lol.

Shoot! That was a 2M6, with a stick, V6, sunroof and leather. The Tech 4's were total crap, but that was actually a nice Fiero....until they detroyed it....

Still a no go. Needs a Northstar to be cool. :p

And then all it would need is new head gaskets.

I've seen an LSx Fiero actually. That thing was bad ass.
