Oxymoron. Just ran the title check and saw that it has had two accidents. Also, it spent most of its life just across the border from me in Ogdensburg, NY. Unless it was only driven May-October, there is no way that it is rust free. | |

| Just curious what is the spanish word for RUST?I kinda doubted that the car has been in the rust belt all its life and
still be rustless.Kinda figure thats why there are only a few pics of this car!!!

Jim Gordon I have imported a couple of Mini's from England. The Brit's definition of rust free is that if you can't see daylight through the panel, then it is rust free. | |

| rust free is relative to where you live
when I bought Rusty, my uncle (in Erie, PA) said the rust isn't too bad. I got it home and thought it was terrible. I sold it to Twinzilla from NY and his comments were it's pretty solid.....
it was solid (ie no holes in the body), but I used my shop vac to take the scale off the bottom.....14 winters in NY/PA were rough on it.

| My car was a Maine car. Snowbirds. Drove to Jacksonville every winter and back to Bangor for the summer. I do have rust, but as stated, I am originally from Michigan and if you cannot see the road between your feet..... it's rust free.
Don't get me wrong, some of you have seen my car.... it ain't no rust bucket.... but there is some brown stuff on the frame rails.. and about 1/2 the bolts need penetrating oil to remove... | |
