| I've got a 1991 Roadmaster Estate brochure, thought I'd scan it and share it with everybody. It's a PDF file, about 2mb. I also have some '92 1A2 and 9C6 booklets I'd like to scan, BUT- Does anyone know what happened to the brochures that were on 9C1.net???? I can't recall if the '92 1A2 booklet I have is the same as the one that was on 9C1.net, there was so many great brochures up there for lots of 9C1s and 1A2s going back to the later boxys, I sure hope they were not lost, all I ever saved to my HD was the '95 1A2 and 9C1 brochures. http://ex-vtc.gotdns.com/downloads/1991_RMW.pdfAlso, if you're interested in Olds Custom Cruiser brochure scans, here's a link to some I put on the ISSF last year: http://www.impalassforum.com/vBulletin/showthread.php?t=232110 |

| There is a lot of stuff lile this on Roadmonster.com. See the old post here. http://gmlongroof.4umer.com/t2079-great-clickable-articles-from-roadmonstercomWe might want to put these in the Pics/Video section with all the GM training vids. Since that's kinda out file cabinet it'd be neat to have brochures and old road tests in the same area for reference. My 2-cents! -Mike Oh and thanks for posting. Neat reading!! |

| "Destined to become a legend of the American Road" We'll be there in about 10 more years I think. These will be as collectible as a 30-40s woody at some point. The pinnacle of body on frame evolution, but I may be somewhat biased. |

You are probably right, and at the rate these get de-wooded there won't be many left soon! (although FWIW the white w/ wood RMW is my LEAST favorite combo, although from advertising it seems to have been GM's favorite). |

lol, whoops... I must say though, your's looks a heck of a lot better than the one in the brochure. The wheels and the tints really make the car. |

| If you think about it though, white was a good choice for advertising.
Black would invoke images of hearses (probably why they're so uncommon anyway) LAB and MAB, while nice colors, can come across as very old-peopley. Was DCM even availible in '91? I don't know. Could you get a Dark Maple Red Roady? |

| Remember that the target market of the Roadmaster was old people. Even today, the forum is dominated by middle-aged white men.

| True I suppose, but it could also pass for a good family vehicle for any age group honestly. |
