Finally got the new sending unit in, got the tank reinstalled around lunch time, reconnected the battery. Started on the first try. Big C is back on the road. Took him out for a bath and threw on my N97's too. cheers

Thank you gentlemen. I'm so happy right now. Now I can get back to finishing the interior and other bits. Just needs a couple more tweaks, fuel filler hose is a bit loose so not gonna drive it again til I adjust that, but other than that. He's 100% better, heck it feels like he's running even better than he was before.

Hopefully you put a drain in the tank for next time.

Don't need no drain, just don't fill it up until you're sure it works right.
