I'm the lady 1995 but here is the new 1996 she's a beauty.

I'm parting out the 1995, (Here in Metro Detroit) This is the 1996 I just purchased. They drive so different for the same make of car. I think the 1996 needs shocks...but ..I know just where to look.

The 1995 seemed a bit faster, but the 1996 starts so much better and you CANNOT hear it running that is how quiet it is. I need my power antenna from the 1995 the 1996 is not going up or down though I can here the motor. Biggest thing is to re apply the black molding on the drivers side. Here are some pictures of both.

My mechanic said "Where are you finding these cars?" I dove like 400 miles in three days to hunt one down.

Awww... poor car. About your '95 seeming a bit faster, might be something to that. I heard somewhere on this forum that the '96 lost like 5 ft. lbs. of torque because of the new OBDII setup used for '96. Don't know if you can really notice that though. Also if you old car had a lower gear ratio it will make a difference in the way it accelerates. A car with a tow package (note the big mech. rad fan) will have 2.93's while the non-tow pack will have 2.56's.

Ouch! That white over red wreck makes me want to cry. Glad nobody was hurt badly. Poor car though, but am glad you found a fast replacement.

Ouch! What did the other car look like? (It isn't easy to do that to a B-Body)

Glad that you found a quick replacement. PCM's for less may well be able to give you your torque back (and improve the gas mileage and get rid of the speed limiter) on that OBDII computer fairly easily.
