I felt like crap when I painted them but the rims don't really show that.

Just bit the bullet and ordered the tires! My wagonfund is pretty much done. Enough for mounting and alignment.

Bought a set of 255/45/18 Dunlop Direzza DZ101 tires.

$620 shipped. The best deal I could find on a quality tire.

Discount Tire Direct are great. I have ordered 3 sets from them so far with no complaints. In fact they replaced a set of tires under their road hazard warranty that wore very strangely. I will continue using them moving forward.

Last 2 wheels were waiting at home tonight! Tires will be here Mon according to UPS. Should have them on by the end of next week ( unless I need to redo the exhaust tips due to rear wheel clearance )

How much is it going to cost for mounting and balancing if you dont mind.I called my garage
today about mounting 6 hardly used Michelins on the big red ram.Almost afraid of what thats
going to cost even with steel rims that are very heavy!

$18 a wheel at the place next to my work. (not bad and its literally across the street)

Lugs came a day after.....but we now have tires!!!

Cavalier holds them fine! 2 in the back, one up front and one in the trunk. lol

Monday has come and gone and were working on friday tomorrow, and still no rims on wagon, Hmmm I want them back,... lol!

Guys just to give you a heads up Chris texted me this morning - He's in the hospital they thought it was his apendix but found he has issues with his lower intestines. So he's going to be laid up for a while

Been feeling bad for awhile, but have to stay on a clear fluid diet with bed rest till Sun. Bad infection and buldging in the intestines. These pain meds are sweet though. Wheels are sitting safely in the back of the wagon. Ugg!!! I guess it will be a bit longer again. . Had a carshow in GA I was supposed to hit up on Sun too.

Lol...honestly, if I would have listened to her sooner..I could have saved an $$ trip to the ER and Hospital! She knew I was feeling bad and knew ( mostly ) the cause.

Hope you feel better soon and hope this helps you get by until you can get them installed. Not as nice as the real thing, but when your down and out, photochop can get you by for a few rainy days.

It was looking flat and bugging me. Here's one mocked up with a little bit of rim showing. I didn't see the 3/4 view until today. A quick 3 min chop but now it has some depth.

Ok, this WILL happen this weekend Been working myself upto it and seeing Pat's progress on his sweet wagon has me even more pumped!

Will clean and paint front and back wheelwells, calipers/drums and install those wheels! I think I have to trim a touch off the rear wheelwell lips too.
