GM Nationals - Carlisle PA

GM Nationals is the end of this Month in Carlisle any body from here planning on attending? Im going and a few others from my club are going

I very much wish I was.

I will be there with Wagon this year!!

I'll be there, but as a spectator only. My Roady is in the shop, and I am bringing my 1997 triple black  Cutlass Coupe. 1phastsswagon, what is your name again? We met very briefly last year just before you went home. I'll be sure to stop by and say hi to you guys. I'll be there Saturday late morning, and stay over until Sunday. Have a safe trip!

Congrats to all the winners at the Carlisle show.  Robert took a prize for his wagon (the only other b-body wagon at the show I think).  Lee's new paint job was very nice!!

I was amazed that I actually took a trophy!!  They put me a a category with ALL years mid and full size Buicks.  There was a Roady Sedan in the category, but I did not really spend any time looking around.  It was hot.

Just Got Home,not to bad of a Show, Tim Guess they felt bad as me being the only Caprice Wagon? Got home and Noticed they gave me a First Place Award !!

Btw can some one design set of training wheels for a folding chair.  Ask Robert for details .

BTW how did the ride home go with that funky front tire?  

I guess we can call them wheelie bars....    But I think we need to get your wife online to tell the story of what REALLY happened!!  

Trip home was near perfect. Stopped and picked up a NEW sneaker before we hit the interstate. Average speed was around 80 to 85 (while she was awake  ) And averaged over 23MPG on the whole trip.

the CarISSMA Wagon also cracked the 264,000mile mark so yup no complaints here.

Next event up is our 2nd annual CarISSMA Heavy Shoot Out in July @ Mooresville Dragway, and looking to score a few more additions for the awards case

Good to see you made it well.  We will make sure and get you one of these to go with the chair!!!

Tim, you need to save that wagon and get you a beater!  It's too nice to use all the time!

Barely broken in!

I forgot a camera for the show, but I ran into a guy taking pictures of the 67 Buick Electra and he offered to take some pictures of my wagon. I got them tonight.

You thought you had graduated to a higher chair.


But there might be a better solution!


Maybe there is a training camp?


Or a safer chair?  (I think they offer wheelie bars on this as an option.)

Wow I can't wait to see it Tim 256k!!!!! You can definitely tell you've taken insane care of it theres no way I could get a beater car love driving my wagon so much I think about driving it when I'm not driving!!
