OFFICIAL 10th anniversary Wagonfest Attendence thread now open.

OK it's time to open up the thread for Attendees to the 10th annual Wagonfest held this year, 2014 in Geneva NY on July 26.  This is an open invitation to all forum members. In particular,  especially new members, and  those who have never experienced a Wagonfest event.  The cost of the event is $10.00 per vehicle to cover expenses, which can be paid via paypal. One of the earlier WF's had about 45 vehicles. There are pics to prove it.

Given that it's the 10th anniversary, it would be nice to see that record broken.

I think it was even more than that.  I remember 49.  Whatever it was, there were a lot there.  Guys drove for long distances.  I remember the one guy drove from Western Canada, something like 3400 miles.  Remember the retired auto worker from Michigan with the beautiful paint job.  Had a surf board if I remember.  He had the whole front taped with blue painters tape to prevent bugs and rock damages.  He showed up unannounced, just kind of stumbled on it.

Sprocket was there with his son and young daughter, that was a long way to drive.  Last year I won the longest distance driven, I was kind of embarrassed as I'm only about 400 away, I think.  I want someone to beat that by atleast 1000 miles.

I didn't have a wagon that year...so I cheated and came in my wife's Civic. We saved gas..but that was a horrible trip and and back 81 in that little car.  Lol   That was an awesome WagonFest though.

Yeah hopefully the tenth anniversary can be the biggest one yet I'm in my sophomore year as a wagon owner definitely would love to see as many people as possible go. It doesn't have to be spotless either although my caprice will be

I think that was 2010, the 1st year I went. The cruise alone had about 30 cars.

Just wanted to stop in and say hi.  I'm afraid I'm out - I'm 1000 miles away now.  My boys and I will definitely miss this event - good wagons, good food, good fun, Jay and Chris' goofy jokes, and of course the water that magically attracted all the kids (and mtrhead79).

Cool! We will almost be neighbors Tim. Cayuga looked to be a lot nicer, more like a real campground, then Sampson.

I miss going to these... I got the longest distance award twice... 2007 and tied in 2008...
