| I am ready to sell my wagon. I tend to only own a car for 2 years tops and then I move on. I've had this wagon for 2 and a half years and it has been my favorite car by far. It has 189k miles. I had a rebuilt tranny put in 2 winters ago. approx. 25k miles ago. It has Goerlich Xtreme mufflers and chrome can tips on it. I put steel truck wheels on it that match the woodgrain and they are wrapped with BFG Radial 235/70R15. Original wheels and nice whitewalls go with also. I had plans to go all custom on this but I am at a point I want a 4x4 SUV to haul the family in. (I know. BORING!) This winter I accidentally crushed the exhaust tips pulling in my driveway after a snowstorm. I hammered them out so the car could breath but they no longer have a nice shape to them. It has a brand new class 3 hitch but still needs to be wired. This car has been my daily driver here in Minnesota for 3 winters now and the only rust I can see is a small spot starting on the leading edge of the hood. It's extremely clean! Everything electrically works fine. Interior looks good. Not perfect. Driver's seat is worn. Rear wiper is broken. Driver's side mirror snapped off in a car wash. I have it held on with a screw and use only touchless or hand washes now. I have always done 3000 mile oil changes with Valvoline High Mileage oil since I bought it. The LT1 is all stock. I haven't done anything under the hood performance wise. It got a new radiator a year ago, a new harmonic balancer 1 1/2 years ago. New starter 2 years ago. I think it could use new shocks and springs and maybe tie rods. Most of the black plastic side moldings are gone. Motor sounds great when warmed up. I started noticing a very very slight knocking noise when starting cold but it goes away when warm. I'm the only one that can hear it. Everybody else thinks I'm crazy. Sorry for the long post but I figured I'd type everything I could think of. This car is exceptionally clean for being a Rust-belt daily driver so I think $2000 FIRM is a very fair price. Thanks, Rick These pics are a couple years old. I have since covered the bowtie emblems on the center caps with Buick emblems. I'll put up current pics asap. maybe a video too. | |
