Funny you should ask..... lots of people were taking lots of photos, notably Diane Cummings, Matt DeSanctis and myself, as were many others. Most of the Wagonfester folks will be traveling home today, so posts will be limited by most until they get home. I'm waiting for 114 pics to transfer to Photobucket. After that I can post up.
We had a few new Wagonfest rookies show up, two of which had just found out about it on Friday night. One came from Montreal Quebecl, and the other group from Ithaca NY.
The day it self was gorgeous, light breeze of the lake, temps high 70's, no rain, lots of bikini clad boater babes...
I know, "Where's the pics"

Here's a few of the pics I took, starting with the Watkins Glen Drive.
"Pre-race" drivers meeting.... Discussing who goes first, our group of wagons, or the 4 drunken' hillbilly"s in the crew cab Chevy truck. We went first.
Stopped at the start/finish line at The Glen to get some pics, and come up with final lap strategy...

What a great day hanging out with friends, old and new.
Winner of peoples choice, John Simmons (Mtrhead79) Nice work John.
John some how found the time to build 2 wagons.
One of the news guys RM from Maine. He found out why fly-away panels are called fly-away panels.
Yakko's family all set up for the afternoon.
Doug's (YachtDriver) new wagon was pretty impressive.
Nick's (phantom309) bright orange wagon.
Tom (silverfox103), and John (BigWagonGuy) discussing Dave's (95BRMW) LSX OCC. Nice work Dave.
Adam's (Caddydaddy13) '91 Cadillac Hearse, with "appropriate" props.... a few passers by thought we had some sort of weird funeral procession. He got a few funny looks.
Lynol wanted to know where the passing fowl smell was coming from.... It wasn't the hearse.
My car, (200OZ) minus my OZ's, and John's (BigWagonGuy) LDM Caprice.
I think the wives had a good time talking....
....and the kids stayed entertained at the spray park, running around, and playing video games.
...and kicking a tree.
Then it was time to go.... See you all next year.
What a great place.
That's all I've got, it was a great day all around. Thanks to Dave Dave Buchholz (Lakeffect) for keeping this going. Great job Dave!

On the way to WF,... since I was in a hurry I got 23.48 mpg. And on the way back I never broke the speed the limit and got 26.38 mpg.

Not many pictures from this guy, but had a great time. Thanks Dave for hosting and Mike for keeping us organized and upright to the Glen and back.
Cleaning up the cars and an little rear inspection for someone
HOLY CRAP it is clean under here!!
Even a Ford guy stopped by to oggle Johns car!!
The pre-Glen meet up.
After the cruise down, buying tickets.
Friday night at the Microtel with the better half
So no pictures of the fest itself as MANY camera's were rolling. Skip to Saturday night....
Ok so we fell off the weight watchers wagon on Saturday night. Had to soften up so the plastic spoons would dig in.
The trip home.
New York State, I miss you some times, until I remember the taxes!!
About 16 MPG (including the Glen) on the way up. Not sure but suspect about 18 on the way home.

From Mrs. Silverfox103.....Diane Thank You Dave for all your work!! The Group The Award Winners Nick and his staff Lynol Jarrod, Val & daughter There's Chris Father & Son, Tony & Matt Dan, Sam & Family Kevin the Collector Randy Rich from Portland ME & CT, new to the game, but he had a great time. He also went home with an award! Everyone knows this guy.......that's Tim! Eric, Jesse and Emily (I think). I know they will be back!! Benn & Rachel (correct me if I'm wrong), wagon wasn't quite ready this year. Mike and Michelle, 200OZ, not a bad guy even though he's a Yankee fan. Big John and his little wagon. Adam "CaddyDaddy" with my favorite that day! He got some strange looks and questions. People were trying to figure out if there was some sort of funeral. John Crombac from NY, is it, or is it not Pat's wagon? He needs no introduction......that's Nick. Great paint job by Jarrod. Jarrod and his wagon, well I guess his daughters now. If you've been following Big John's wagons makeover, this is the guy that is doing it. The Cadet, claims he has a wagon. No one has seen it. Don from Montreal, had a great time, will be back. Beautiful low mileage Caprice. That's me, looks like I better ease off of the donuts. Diane can you photoshop this picture.

Wow. Looks like you guys had a blast. Lots of nice looking cars and a few boxys.
I want to say third time's the charm for next year, but considering my track record of increasingly terrible reasons I keep cancelling last minute, a small part of me is worried about what the universe cooks up next.
Still, looking forward to seeing more pics. If anything, the past few days has spurred me to try and get "Firefly" in better condition for the next fest. Keeps my mind on something.

Great to be able to attend this year,..
The car split its top rad hose just as i backed it in to its spot,.i removed the hose and tom and i set off to geneva for antifreeze and a hose. The hose was ordered but wouldn't arrive till 2:30.
When we arrived back at the Fest, Jason had been over to look at the car and offered up both upper and lower hoses from his impala SS. So many thanks to JaySS for helping me out,.and Tom for the ride into town.
Thanks to my daughter and Jarrod for painting up and installing the sail panel that came off,. Thanks also to Mike 200OZ for the spare sail panel which i need now as the one we put on at wagonfest flew away on the interstate when i was checking to see if the speed limiter was set at 255mph,.
Everybody was very interested in Dave's 5.3 swap,. great to see it in and running,. Dave was also kind enough to remove the pesky speed limiter on my car,.so its his fault the sail panel is gone again,.. ( i was actually a little concerned at the time as Tim bigblackbeasst was making comment that he'd coerced dave to drop the speed limiter to 55 mph,.. )
Wagonfest is a great time to showcase the tremendous amount of time effort and love that folks have for their wagons,.
Thankyou to all those of you that took a picture gathered around the orange wagon,.we will treasure that picture.
Nick

First off..... AMAZING interior Dave!! The amount of detail and mod's are stupefying. My wife looked at your interior and was blown away by the 4 buckets. Well done my friend.
Secondly... 95% done? Our wagons are NEVER done!

Dave has been busy with his wagon since the last time I saw it. I don't think he'll be going to HD and throwing stuff in the back with that interior. It came out beautiful. I'm thinking by the time we see it next year, the outside is going to look different.

OK, Tim I lied... 75% done.... There's already things I want to redo and/or add to., most of which is wiring stuff in, lights in and out mostly, and finishing the amp/speaker install. but don't tell my wife. She wants me to work on the house.
Sprocket, the interesting thing for me to observe is it's an all ages thing. You don't have to be a kid that grew up riding shotgun in the third seat to enjoy them. They don't have to bring back memories. They can create new ones, like Wagonfest and all the new friends we've all found via this forum.
They don't have to be wildly custom. The cool part is the are all the same, yet every one is slightly (or grossly) different from the next in line.
And yes Tom, by next year the outside should be changed.

Haha, yeah. I think you may have started a movement. Glad you worked out all the kinks of swapping for all of us TBI wagon guys... Now I can't decide... do I want a 6 liter LS engine swap, or do I want a paint job???
