I will never drive this car in the winter. if I did I would put winter tires on it. I am a firm believer in winter tires and anti-lock brakes on a winter vehicle. and in Michigan driving a vehicle you don't give S#%& about.

| I drove it to work and ran it up to triple digits with no issues. going in an out of my bomb cratered dirt driveway was test enough for tire rub. I was a little concerned because my wheel wells are not centered over the tires. my guess is the centerline of the body and the axle are up to about .25" off. I do really like the looks of the 255's I may try to get a second set for the front, thing is I have the wagon and 2 LeSabre's, and right now I have 2 new 225 tires, 4 like new 225 tires and 4 like new 235 tires. I need to use them before they start to dry rot. | |

| That ring on back was used on 69'- and earlier Buick Road rims. It's called and Eccentric ring. It's so the rim would rest on hub or rear axle when installed.
You should also notice once installed the rim's with the eccentric rings on them will sit outward more because they have a greater offset than other two.
Or look at how the center of the rim actually is set inward more when you are looking downward at them, compared to the other rims.

I will have to check the back spacing. that could be my wheel well clearance issue. I didn't think hub centric wheels were a thing that long ago.

| Looks nice, I would either get a set of those or go with some alloys... | |

thanks! one day I may get a set of 17 or 18" alloys but right now money is tight and I can still find Buick road wheels at reasonable cost.

I measured the 3 remaining rims and the offset, width and backspacing were the same on all 3 rims. (2 w/rings one w/out)
