Shipper picked up the wagon today to take to its new home in New York. Looking forward to seeing what Jarrod does with her.

Took it to work to make pickup easier. Final drive wasn't as fun as I had hoped. I am used to its LS powered replacement.

Shipper loading it up. He didn't seem to be very good at it and had some difficulty getting it right. Said he was glad to be picking up a junker at his next stop so he wouldn't have to load it.

Loaded up and pulling away. I stood there until it was out of sight. After owning this car for nearly six years and having done a lot of work to it, it was bittersweet. To say I wasn't misty eyed would be a lie. I really loved this ol multi colored wagon. It has been the most useful and reliable vehicle I ever owned.

Same deal when I watched my 9C1 drive away after 11 years to somebody who clearly had no idea just how much work had gone into the car. Drove home teary-eyed. Nothing fills a garage like these cars.

Are you getting another wagon? What is Jarrod doing with it?

Glad to see it's at least going to someone that will love it.

I am pretty sure Jarrod is gonna eliminate the rust, straighten it up and make it look pretty. Other than that I have no idea what his exact plans are.

As for getting another wagon. Maybe. Only time will tell. If I do it will most likely be from the 60s/70s.

Getting another bubble really depends upon certain factors. It would have to be a completely rust free 95 Caprice without the stickers for starters.

For now, I have acquired my mother in law's LS4 08 Impala SS, she made me a deal I could not pass up. Even with wrong wheel drive an LS is a fun engine. My kids are nearly teens and the wife has a brand new SUV. That means I can now go back to cars with two doors.
