Hello Everyone,

I'm looking for the following items for a 1996 Blue Roadblaster wagon, VIN 1G4BR82P7TR409941

I  Bought it new in June 1996, a little over $30,000 I think at that time. Figured it would be the last of the big GM wagons, and I have had one of them of some variation ever since the 1960's, starting with a hand me down '57 Bel Aire wagon with the 283, automatic in the 1960's. (Price then was $2,200.00)!!   Current '96 wagon Hood ornament says : "Collector Edition" and inside says "Gran Touring Suspension", but maybe they all said that in 1996.

   I am looking for:

  1. Grille

  2. Stainless steel trim, 90 degree small piece, to go under the Left Rear tail lamp.

   3. Windshield washer motor

   4.  Heater fan for climate control system ( works about 3 days a year, but never when I need it!)

   5. Left and right automatic side mirrors, complete in light blue casing, to match car color. (Perhaps VIN above has a paint code in all those numbers??)

I bought a pair of aftermarket mirrors a few years ago, but they are black, and I think more suitable for the Caprice Wagon. New in Boxes, if anyone has interest. Would rather try to find the light blue ones.

Still squeeling the tires when ever possible, I thank you for your help.

    Bob

Washer pumps can be gotten new from the parts stores, most by this age used don't work.

You can also get the blower fan new, but they don't perform as well as the OEM ones.

I have a tested used OEM fans for $55 shipped.

You may have a malfunctioning control module. I have the control module as well for an additional $50 if shipped together.

Thanks Fred. Payment and details are on the way to you via mail for the OEM fan module.

Thanks as well for other member's comments. That is a large windshield to clear of fog and needs all the air speed it can get to keep it clear!

I'll be back if the issue turns out to be the control module.

Thanks Bob
