| Hey Guys, I'm posting on behalf of my father-in-law who has no idea that these types of forums exist and I told him I would help him out and post to see if we can get a reply or some help. My FIL is the original owner of a 1984 Caprice Wagon and last year he started entering the car into different car shows around the area and to our surprise he's actually been winning in a few categories. For the most part, people have been over joyed to see this car as it brings back so many memories and nostalgia of from when they were little kids as you all may already know. So he's looking for two parts to replace on his car. Would love your guys' help to see if you have this new part of if you point me into a direction that I could send him to. Parts Needed:
- Rear Hood Molding PN: 475762
- Tailgate Drip Molding PN: 3073622
He went directly to his local GM dealer to see if he could get the parts but as you can imagine the parts have been discontinued for sometime now. Thank you in advance, please let me know if you have any additional questions.

| Hey Jimmy
Welcome aboard. It make take some searching but you should be able to find the parts that you are seeking for the FIL.
Couple of things that may be helpful. First of all, you should put your location in your signature. If you could get a picture of exactly what you're looking for, that would be helpful also.
Good Luck

| Also, the other variants (Buick, Olds, Pontiac) may have used the same part (or not) | |

| Have 3. From '84 Parisienne wagon, '87 Safari wagon, '87 Lesabre Estate wagon and '88 Electra Estate wagon. Can send photos. Will ship. Also have drip moldings but all have serious dry rot. Best way to solve that problem is to fabricate one. | |

| Hey Guys, Sorry for the delay in getting the pictures. We had to hunt down to find the best picture of what he's looking for. For the Drip Molding it's the "seal" that on the tailgate: For the rear hood molding, it's the chrome strip that goes on the back of the hood: | |

| Very nice wagon! Don,t see that year looking that good from the Chicago area (in our salt belt region) Are you a north or south sider? I am in Mchenry (about 60 miles NW of downtown) Have 2 96 Road Master Wagons. The one has over 300K and looks like swiss cheese from the salt. (that one we bought new) the second one my son and I own together and is a beautiful no rust wagon with just over 100K. Welcome to the forum! | |

| Thank you Danr63! Yes it's his pride and joy and it's been well maintained. He actually lives in the Lake in the Hills area, so he's getting the full blast of winter in Chicago! | |

| Steele Rubber used to have the rubber for the rear windows. But its now gone from their website. What is weird is that they used to have a lot of items for my 1987 Buick and 1964 Cadillac, can't find anything at all there now. Everything is gone. Either they stopped selling the parts or the website is falling apart.
You can also check Classic Industries. The website is very slow, but you might be lucky after a while. Suggest you go for a coffee after you entered year/make/model.

| Did a quick check on Rockauto. They have a lot of rubber seals from Fairchild Industries. Check there and if not available ask Fairchild. They might have it. | |
