| That wagon was at WF in New York. He won the longest distance traveled.

| It really pulls out the black in the rubber molding everyone seems to pitch... | |

| I just ordered a set of those of these blackout panels. I'm only going to use the ones on the B-pillars, where the front and rear doors meet. We'll see what that looks like.
I like the white C-pillars on the Roadys because to me it makes the rear 1/4 window look more angled, and the chrome outline trim does not go above and below those C-pillar panels like it does on the B-pillars.
I'd thought for years the car would look cool with the B-pillars blacked out, especially with the dark tint my car has, and also I have a small ring-scratch in my white paint on the passenger front door there too.
These panels were too interesting not to try out. Pics next week when they get in.

| I have black pillars on mine. It's great. Granted, now the whole top half of the car is black, but you get the idea: |

| I am still thinking about doing mine. My thought was to do it with PLASTIDIP that way I can take it off with ease when/if I did not like it.
Plus a can of the stuff is like $6 at my local Walmart. | |

| The black pillars look good and will look good with the tint as they do on the Roo wagon. | |

| Roadmaster Blacked-Out B-pillar trim added. 10/28/2014. After seeing these piano-black pillar covers on the Roady wagon at the top of this thread, I ordered a set for myself. It does change the look of the car quite a bit. Still not sure if it's BETTER or not (my 12-year-old, Eddie, hates the new look), but it's different...and goes with my Gran Sport theme I guess, since Buick is famous for blacking out window trim on the GS models. I only used the B-pillar trim, even though it came with the C-pillar blackouts as well. I left the C-pillars off because GM did not run the chrome trim above and below the C-pillars, like it did on the B-pillars. I'd masking-taped the black panels on the C's, and it just didn't look "factory..right" to me. The black on the C's also seemed to take away from the curved/sloped rear 1/4 window design GM gave the Roadmasters with the additional C-pillar trim behind the rear door. If this was my '92 Custom Cruiser or a Caprice wagon, I most likely would have used the C-pillar trim, but on the Roady it just didn't look correct to me. ANYWAY the B-pillar black trim fits well and seems well made. About my only complaint is it does show fingerprints, so will have to get in the habit of closing the door on the wood. Ha! A BIG tip though if you decide to do this, I would pre-paint the area behind the new trim black first before installing it. I added the trim, and could still see some white around the trim edges....I thought I could live with that, but it bothered me enough, especially in the sunshine, that I taped the car all up last night and painted around the edges of the new trim with Semi-gloss enamel. NOW it's ALL black, and looks a LOT better and more like what the factory would have done. Also re-painted the rear wiper arm, which had some paint-peel, so my OCD would stop screaming whenever I washed the car and saw wiper up close...ha!! Again, save yourself a lot of taping and paint the pillars first if you do this mod!! SO what are your thoughts?? Improvement? Look Better? Look Worse? Waste of my time and money?? Ha! Looking forward to hearing what folks think. Still love this car!! | |

| Yea that looks great and deffently want to do this when I get some tint on mine. Thanks for the advice on painting the pillars first. I like how it seperators and pulls together the windows all at the same time. Looks more aggressive and mean. | |

| Just do them in paint the first time, then. Vinyl is for the indecisive. :p |
