| My son and I checked over the "new" ride today to see what it will need to make it the perfect cruiser. All in all not to bad for a almost 20 year old car. We will be replacing the entire front steering rack. All the tie rods and idler arm where showing major wear and where loose. Four new shocks and the stabilizer end link kit was in order as well. Last the front hydraulic brake flex lines where cracking badly and while still OK (about 10K left) we are replacing the brake pads/shoes all the way around. My son and the car will be going to New Mexico where my Daughter lives so I don't want him having any issues with the car while he is there. very beautiful ride and we expect to get many smiles to the mile with our new "rollin sofa" | |

| Dan, really love your new "sofa", but I think it may be more rollin lazy boy recliners. I am sure glad to see it go to such a good home as I can tell it will be well taken care of. Was great meeting you and your family. Also enjoyed seeing your other toys, very nice cars
Take care, Rich | |

| The car is actually NOT a northern car. It is from Florida and was in MN for about a year (never driven in snow) and now here (Chicago area). It is on it's way to new Mexico in about a month but will stay stored in a heated barn until it leaves. | |

| NICE! Really glad that one found a good home!
Oh and if you stop by Lowe's or Home Depot looks for some satin spray paint in Nutmeg color. Spray some in the cap and use a fine brush, and you can touch up the woodgrain in those few spots in the pics. From about a foot away the touch-up will be invisible.
Just a tip! Love the car, and glad it's coming back south again.

| Glad to hear someone here bought it! If it had been on the west coast I would have grabbed it over the one I found.
Your son is a lucky man! | |
