Group Rate for July 2015 Wagonfest

I was out in the Geneva NY area  today for business , taking some continuing education courses, which happened to be at the Ramada Inn in Geneva. Around the corner was a Hampton Inn facility. Nine miles away was the  Waterloo Microtel, the usual place for many past Wagonfest attendees.

Ramada and Hampton viewed it as prime peak tourist season and the rates reflected that in the prices
Ramada was $190 per night, minimum 10 rooms to get that price, Hampton was all of $10.00 less, again at least ten rooms.

The Miicotel shad about $10.00 off the three types of rooms 1 King, 2 queen and Suite, but a maximum of ten rooms at those prices. I have reserved ten rooms. prices are $99, $108 and $126 respectively per night. Additionally for those wanting to come  a day early, or stay a day late, Thursday and/or Sunday can also be booked for an additional $90.00.

Also the Holiday Inn Waterloo is Kiddy-Corner from the Microtel but they are $183.00 per night!!  The New Holiday Inn in Geneva is $162!!  YIKES!!

We stayed at the Hampton Inn this year. It was leaps and bounds better than the Microtel, and even the Holiday Inn. Well worth their asking rate.

i usually stay at microtel for free . got a wyndham credit card and pay for my life and car insurance and other crap with it. works out great

Hoping to have money for both come spring.

So I'm just reading this now, but man....$183 a night for a Holiday Inn????? Thats crazy. Looks like I'm camping again as well, likely at Cayuga State Park as well, liked that spot. The site I stayed at had several sites connected by a large grassy area, pretty nice. We should get a couple of the sites connected, would be a good hangout.

FYI Tried booking a room today with the Microtel,they stated they had no king rooms? Just a heads up.
