| Greetings:
So we have a few active members in the upper pacific northwest now. I would like to see about us getting together this year. Let me know here or by private message. We could decide amongst us a fairly central city to all meet up in.

| Great idea. The few left coasters we have, generally get left out of events. | |

| If it's not too far and I'm available im game. I would love to see and ride in some other wagons, especially with different exhausts, suspensions, etc.

| Heck yes! It'd be a treat to meet people who appreciate these rather than go "why would you ever buy that behemoth?" That and i haven't experienced or hardly ever see another wagon besides mine. | |

| So what do the northwest members think about a date and location to meet?
Would you be up to meet in Seattle (3 members here for sure) or ? June, July?
Let me know your thoughts. | |

| I'm for it, but I wonder if we can find a place in Seattle where more than one of us can park. | |

| oh man you're right. out of the few times I've driven my wago to Seattle I've gotten street parking once, then some really tight garages. so finding a place with at least 3 spaces would be a win! | |

| Can't really commit to a date as my schedule is all over the place. If I am available, I will go. | |

| This is the challenge with trying to start up a regular meet. I will blaze forward and shoot for June. I am looking at a few venues that have parking spaces for us. It may be just me if everyone falls out! | |

| I am in talks with the event coordinator at "America's Car Museum" in Tacoma for parking spaces. My plan is that we could arrive in the morning, tour around the car museum (they have a special station wagons of Route 66 display) and then spend our time together outside with our cars. There is a café on premises. The museums website: www.americascarmuseum.org Tentative date is set for the last Saturday in June (the 27th). We should arrive around 9AM. The museum opens at 10AM and a full walking tour takes about 2 hours. So now I need to know exactly how many could make this event? You would be welcome to bring spouses or significant others. | |

| Since there has been no commitment save one, this planned event will be cancelled. Bummer. Schmalexander, we can meet anytime you'd like. | |

| As expected I was the only one that could make it. The museum was pretty cool. They did a "Route 66" display and highlighted just station wagons in it. Below are a few snaps... 1966 Ford Country Squire 1968 Chevy Impala Mint condition 1983 (only year made) Mercury Grand Marquis LS Colony Park (this was special ordered with every possible option) Not sure how this one snuck into the museum....Blown away to see a mint top of the line fully loaded 1977 Plymouth Gran Fury! The height of 70's ugliness yet when mint, they are kind of sharp! Hopefully the PNWesters can sll get together for a formal meet one day! | |
