| Two inches is good, but you will probably have to remove the top bolt from your wheelhouse to the fender at the wheel opening for a little extra clearance when turning. The tires usually hit the bolt when turning, and it can wear a groove in your tread. I run 27 inch tires, and about 3 1/2 inch drop, so mine sits really low. I have about 2 3/4 inches of ground clearance. I even had to cut about an inch off of the airdam pieces so they would not drag on everything I go over. | |

| I used 2 inch drop spindles (forget the brand, probably Belltech), and 2 inch springs with a one inch rubber spacer split in half lengthwise to raise it a half inch. The setup without the spacer was just too low, and hit almost anything I went over. I have 2 inch drop springs in the rear. That gives it a little rake. I just got it painted, so it is all the same color, including the roof rack, and looks shinier. I do not know if I could put 28 inch tires on it without severe interference with the fenders. | |

What is the actual tire size that you are running? | |

| The 275/40/17s are only 26.1 inches tall. You get almost another 1/2 inch of fender clearance with them over a 27 inch tire. The bolt head is about 1/4 inch tall. I may try the 28 inch tires on both front and rear to get a little more ground clearance. | |
