Well, looks like another part that's unobtanium. Gates 26034975GK- lots of places list it, but when I order it, they can't get it.

Now there's nothing magical about this hose other than the fact it's got some molded in bends to it, and they aren't particularly sharp or weird bends.

Seems to me a 5/8" silicone hose should be flexible enough to route properly, but I'm not sure about any potential suction collapsing it. Figured I'd throw that theory up here for the crew to comment on.

Of course Nick, seems like the only broken things are the ones I break. Well, collateral damage anyway in this case.

I figured regular hose should be fine, but thanks for the confirmation Smile

i used heater hose and it got real soft gooey feeling in a year. i got the gates hose and had no issues. they made a limited batch of the hoses. you might want to check around and find some where that has one sitting on a shelf. i had gotten mine from rockauto. rock says they dont have any . the impala site had this link. $14.27 for it

mach5 cancelled my order saying they couldn't get any. Two other places, same deal. I'll take another look.

I'm not sure I'd use regular rubber heater hose, silicone seems the way to go since it's impervious to just about anything a car can throw at it chemically.
