Title says it all. I pulled the OE emblems off for painting and want to glue 'em back on

What are the best options that are readily available (Autozone, Home Depot, etc) as the clock is ticking.

At a recent Wagonfest I pulled one of the roadmaster emblems off of my car while cleaning it.

Quick trip to Autozone and some Permatex "Trim" adhesive worked the trick.

It was black if I remember correctly.

I guess you were scrubbing pretty hard lol!

Okay sounds good, have to be careful not to use too much, lol.

Actually the edge of the emblem caught on my shirt as I was walking away.

Still it pulled right off.

Don't glop it on. Just what you need to re-attach. It's been there for a couple of years now without issue.

I'll have to get some as well. The original tape on my emblems is all dried out and they are starting to separate from the car.

I got some and glued a bowtie over the hood ornament hole. If it doesn't jack up the paint (warning on the label), I'll put all the Caprice ones back on tomorrow....

Before i purchase my wagon it was in a small fender bender... (side swipe entire passenger side)
The mechanic that fixed it must have done it on the cheap because the lady that owned it was in her 90's. They didn't bother to replace the passenger door emblem with the original parts. They ended up using an emblem that came from a mid 90's GM truck.

Long story short, I also accidently pulled the emblem of. Not sure what glue they used, but it pulled the paint all the way off the car! Damn good glue - or pretty crappy paint job! Either way I have to look at it every flipping day. Makes me so angry with shotty mechanics.

Basically, "a dab will do ya" don't go crazy with it.

I used the 3M trim adhesive. It's clear, looks a bit like shoe goo. It's held up so far. I got tired of people calling the car the ADMASTER.

I use shoe glue on mine. Cheap, works well, clear, stays flexable, somewhat easy to take off and, is everywhere.
