| I made a trip to the yard after seeing these 3 listed on their online inventory, wagon got there about 4 or 5 days after my last visit and was already picked over. The two Caprice sedans were also pretty far gone, all 3 by people who liked to break things to make access for what they wanted easier.
Notable on the OCC white over blue cloth were the dirty but not torn seats which also included a matching cloth 3rd seat. Couldn't open the rear tailgate window to remove rear side pieces to see the seat cushion which was covered by the locking floor section that had been removed. No cargo light covers, never had the cargo shade and someone had nabbed the rear seat belt covers by the roof, the headliner was ripped apart by the roof windows and no little shades were to be found. All I got from this blue interior were the front seat recliner handles which my car is missing on the driver's side. The front bumper was there but had a tear down low on the driver's side and seemed to be missing a thin trim strip near the top. The grill was there but the upper, outboard screw areas were broken out (but still there). The side cladding was gouged and scratched, driver door piece missing. Door panels looked savaged by some one to get to other parts. AC controls still in dash, guage cluster still in dash, defroster grille and passenger side pad over glove box were missing as was the radio. No trailer hitch. No fuse box cover at all but every fuse location had a fuse in it, unlike my wagon which has a couple blank spots. Had wheels but no center caps. Did have the 4 flyaway trim panels which are now in my possession but of course the clips had to be pulled from the body after the panels were off, I can see why these don't like to stay attached to the cars! Don't know why they were still on the car after someone had removed so much other stuff.
The 96 Caprice (white/blue) had what appeared to be factory cloth buckets, recovered driver seat, with manual adjusters, and a rear sway bar. The interior was all over the place and seems like someone just removed every part of the dash until they could get the airbag from the passenger side. Cluster was on the roof of car next to it and had a broken clear cover. Looked like good rear armrests in blue just sitting on the rear floor, door panels on ground and in trunk. Hood flopped over after removing from one hinge and trunklid gone. It did have a rear swaybar still. I got nothing from this one.
The 92 Caprice (dark gray/gray leather) was mostly there but wrecked in rear driver side door, front and dents elsewhere. I got the defroster grill in the center and passenger side of the dash but will have to paint them to match my blue interior. No radio so I couldn't get the tuning knob for my car.
Then I went to check on a 91 CRX and got the driverside window regulator my sister has been looking for (at least 3 years now) but seemed to be unobtainium. I'll let her know about that score tomorrow!

| A fairly new phenomenon is the use of "parts pullers". These folks are paid a premium to pull and ship parts to folks. I have witnessed that they are like bears and rip and break anything they don't need to get to the part(s) they are after. Sad.
The cloth third seat is pretty rare.

| I have witnessed this phenomenon at my local yard. I don't know if they are pulling to order, or just after high value items, but they are pretty brutal and disrespectful. My yard also periodically suffers vandalism, someone who likes smashing windshields, which not only wastes the windshield, but fills all internal parts with shattered glass, and exposes internal parts to water damage. I wish I had time and money to strip the Roadie in my local yard. | |

| Hey, justme, I know someone who needs a driver's side rear door cladding for the OCC. If you can get it at a reasonable price, he would be interested. | |

| The cladding on the wagon was very gouged. I know the bumper cover rips can be repaired but not sure about filling the cladding damage to even be presentable. | |
