Multiple electrical issues Empty
PostSubject: Multiple electrical issues   Multiple electrical issues Icon_minitimeSun May 24, 2015 8:04 pm

Ever since I've bought my car, there have been numerous gremlins hiding in the wiring.

1) The chimes don't go off when either the key is in the ignition with the door open or the headlights are on when the car is off. What I do know is that the turn signal chime goes off after half a mile with the turn signal on but that's the only chime I've ever heard.

2) For some reason the fasten belts light/chime doesn't work. Some dip stick cut the cord instead of simply unplugging the connector. I tried to jump the two wires but no dice.

3) The low fuel, low wash and low coolant lights don't work, but I'm hopefully attributing that to blown out bulbs. I know the low oil level light works.

4) sometimes the interior lights get stuck on and I have to remove the fuse and put it back in for them to turn off normally. I can't even come up with an explanation for that.

Any help or leads to the solution are greatly appreciated.
