| I caught the wagon bug early, but I was told I was crazy, because NOBODY likes wagons.Boy were they wrong. My first love was the tri five chevys. At the time the 57 was my favorite, and I had a couple of buddies who drove 55's. I tried everything I could to get one but on a high schoolers budget little chance of getting anything any good. Instead I ended up scoring a 1962 Chevy Impala. Red with the factory white stripe, fawn and black interior. I thought my feces had no smell! Later someone offered to trade me a 1966 Pontiac Le Mans wagon for it. I didnt make the trade, but I was intrigued. It was long and lean, tan with a sweet set Torq Thrusts on it. I couldnt get it out of my head! Thats when I started checking out other rodded up wagons and decovered the Nomads. I become a convert right then and there. Cue the church music.... IMO greatest wagon ever. Later in my adult life Ive had 6 B-Bodies. 91 Caprice 383 stroker, beautiful 18"Centerlines. She looked fast sitting still. 94 Roady Black/Woodie,bought it fro Fred. Sold that one to my sister, still regret that one. Another 94,White wood delete, blue guts. A 93 Roady Black, wood delete...hated the tbi, traded it for cash for different project Finally the last two my 91 and 92 Olds . Recently added the SS wheels new rubber. Bel Tech swaybars, new bushings and all new front brakes. Here is how she currently looks...Getting her ready for WagonFest. Only shot I have of the two girls together, sorry for the quality. Another shot of the 91 OCC. Next for her is 373's and duals, hopefully before WagonFest. Thanks for reading...Sorry for the scattered format. Im still getting the hang of posting pictures. | |

Well that ruined my morning. How sad. Makes you sick. Really like your Oldsmobiles. I WILL have another one again one of these days! -Mike | |

| I'm still waiting for the church music.
I'd trade you my first born child for the Nomad, but you'd be getting the bad end of the deal.
See you in July Andy.

| Great story! there was a local 92 OCC,that was the same gray/red. The funny story is I found out where it lived and went calling. The 70 something year old lady opened her door, saw mine and immediately asked me if I wanted to sell it, lol. She went on to say she'd be buried in hers and never sell it. I left my info and said if she changed her mind, I'd buy it in any condition. About 6 months ago it disappeared from their driveway. I'm afraid to go find out if she is still around or if she really did get buried in it..... | |

| Andy, thanks for your story and pictures! I had a 57 Nomad, but it didn't look like that. Like the gray on the CC.
Also thanks for helping me out, as the member that was supposed to have the story was a no show. One other good thing, Andy now knows how to load pictures.
thanks again
Tom
