| Hi Folks, It's a bit sad but I've come to the conclusion I want to sell my 1995 Buick Roadmaster. It's a lovely vehicle with only 52000 miles on the meeter. It's fully loaded with every extra you could get that year, bar CD player and engine block heater. We still have the window sticker and all it's owners manuals including the folder. It's absolutely zero rust car with flawless paint and dinoc wood. The very sensitive fake wood moldings are also in excellent condition if you exclude about 1” at the very front the arrow point on the passenger sides front fender. It' s just as lovely on the inside too, with minimal wear. Likewise the undercarriage is also very nice with only the light oxidation which is normal on control arms and the frame. . I'm currently in the process of detailing the wagon, claying it and a light hand polishing and wax, like wise the interior will get its treat. Its not like it's in need of it but this is a wagon looking close to factory new so I think it deserves it. I've always keep it covered and a majority of it's life its been garaged. There is no fading or discoloration anywhere, and the leather is still supple as it was when it was new. . Just to clarify I thought I would include the list of the options she was ordered with. No unfortunately she doesn't have a built in CD player but she does have a Sony CD changer. It's mounted in the trunks side storage area, and the remote in mounted in the ashtray, and to use it you just just dial it in on the stereo. I've assigned radio button No6 for just this purpose. The list (complete rpo list to follow); * Limited wagon package
* Leather 55/45 front seat with storage armrest
* Trailer towing package* Memory drivers seat with heated driver and passenger seat
* Full size aluminum spare
* California emissions
* Axel limited slip differential
As much as this is a sales post I thought I would also document the detailing and small repairs that will be done on the wagon. Besides while detailing it I will for sure discover small imperfections that a new owner will benefit from knowing before they buy her rather than after. The initial pictures are from about 4000 miles ago. Known faults that we are currently mending: * A/C compressor shaft seal is leaking. Think the best would be to just fix the seal rather than exchange the compressor that way the wagon will keep as much of its original bits.
* Hood ornament broken don't ask me how but it is. I have a “new” one so it's a easy fix.
* Small crack in leather near the power lumbar switch. This must be a common fault on all cars with power lumbar and power heater switcher. The metal mounting bracket inside the seat is too tall and over time it will pierce the leather. I've already taken care of the metal bracket and I'm currently putting a patch on the inside of the leather. When done you will need to look very closely to see any of it.
* The rubber have come passenger side quarter panel molding. I've in the process of putting this one back too with the proper 3M stuff. When I noticed it starting to come off, I simply removed it since if it would be left hanging it would distort.
* One of the side mirrors has a crack.
* There is scrape on the outer corner of the rear bumper, I will have this smart repaired so it should not be visible when fixed.
I'm sure I will find some more small stuff as I detail but it should not be much since I have a pretty good check on the state of my Buick. The last picture is the state of it before starting the detailing. Ah yes this wagon will be ready for delivery in about 8 weeks time either in Jacksonville or Baltimore. It's currently with me in Europe, but since I never registered it here and there is only limited interest of it over here I thought I wold just let it go back to where she belongs. Car will be delivered by a friend of mine in and around either the Jacksonville or Baltimore and payment will take place at the time of delivery in the US. I'm not selling because I want to but because I need to focus on what I have. I already have four other classic Buick wagons that are dear to me, plus a whole bunch of other classic wagons so this one simply has to go in order downsize the collection which is a bit too big. That said I'm not rush selling it, more interested that it goes to the right owner and to a fair price. I will let tthe bidding start with 8k. Forgot to say we have a clear title and pink slip in hand, you shoudl just be able to walk into the DMV to register the wagon. Cheers Dyna PS: No I'm not using ArmorAll or other silicon based shine enhancement agents simly because they are faking it.

| I would suggest an asking price per forum rules, and. Honestly I think you could sell for more in Europe since it is there already.... | |

| Hi Sprocket, Will fix the price if I can edit my post. I might be able sell it in Europe although price is from what it looks not as good. Selling it State side is also from my perspective a lot less of a hassle. Registering it here cost and it's a major affair to do it. While in the States you just walk in to the DMV with the pink slip (which I still have) and pay some small fees. Cheers Dyna - Sprocket wrote:

| Well, where in Europe are you at, exactly?
It's probably out of my reach right now, and I would have to sell my current wagon first... but I could imagine buying a good one like this, even if it wasn't registered in Europe, and doing all the hassle and paying the taxes etc myself. It would still be cheaper than to ship one from the states. There's a limited number of these cars here and they're getting rusty. I'm planning to sell my wagon in the near future and to hunt down a good one and only drive it in summers to keep it good. I've actually considered getting one from the states some day. So I think it's possible that someone in the Europe would buy it...

| Hi Andy, I'm in the South of Sweden and if you would want to buy I would be happy to help with transport etc. You are quite right the ones over here are mostly very rusty or used up. I will be posting a lot more pictures as I progress with the detailing this weekend. In my view you will have a very hard time finiding one as nice as this over here, and even in the States you will need time and paitience to hunt one down. I know because it was quite hard to find this one. Cheers Dyna PS: Where in Finland are you? - andy caprice wrote:

Yes it is but sometimes it's not much you can do about it unfortunately. It's not like I got the 95 to later sell it, I was intending to keep it for a very long time. I can just hope the one how buys it will take very good care of it. Cheers Dyna

| Hi Been cleaning her today and took some fresh pictures today to late to sort through them all but liked this detail pictures that shows how clean she is. It's funny I did a major detailing when I got her, and it's been holding up fine since I've only been driving 3000 miles or so since it was done. I thought it would take longer time to detail her but in all it was just a good clean taking half a day. Anyway here is the pic I liked. Cheers Dyna PS: And yes I do have a new hood ornament, which I will fix before sale. | |

| This is one well preserved beautiful wagon.
At the starting price quite the bargain.
I would be tempted if I didn't already have 3.

| Thanks, reason for sale is that I need to get my other Buick wagons home, they are on the wrong side of the pond from my perspective. It's also the car that is the most modern and from my perspective less interesting than say the 58 Callabero or the 67 Sportswagon, even if I love it for it's very comfortable ride which was why I bought it in the first place. Being a 95 I also have to wait another 10 years before it becomes a vintage car and relived of road tax and only need a safety inspection every second year.

| Dear Dyna,
Yesterday I discovered your car offer.
Are you back in the USA now?
Or is the car still in Sweden?
I am in the Netherlands and interested, but most likely too late?

Otherwise give us a price and lets move on.

| No, I'm just asking the seller to put a price on the car if he plans on selling it here. If he wants to gamble on a bidding war then he should throw it on Ebay and take his chances…. | |

| Dutch-Bob, Beautiful vehicle. Wish my '93 twin looked as good, but with 368k miles, that's not likely to happen. I'm now motivated to finish detailing mine. The cargo net photos cleared up a question I had about the attachment points. I used to sail with a Dutchman. He had no patience for mierenneuker. 5er | |
