| Just completely flushed the cooling system (radiator, heater core) using a kit bought on ebay (Prestone ).I'm used to the temp gauge and what's normal in the Roadmaster. Not used to the design temp gauge in the '94 Caprice. When the needle is in the middle area of the gauge, does that indicate a normal operating reading? | |

| It's the most vague gauge in history.
What year is your Caprice? If it's a 94-96, pull the real temp from the climate control and check that. It will tell you in actual units of degrees Canadian. As long as the gauge isn't red, you're good. Otherwise it's genuinely BS. |

| About a third of the way up appears to be normal on my 95 9C1. SO like Ray said, vague and open to interpretation. | |
