| Before the $150.00 used bell tech 2" drop spindles,. After,.. easy job,. just about two hours total,. ruined the abs sensors tho,.need a couple new ones,. the 2" toe out was ugly tho I have the rear drop springs,. but i kinda like the 'raked' look,. | |

| Looks nice Nick,
I too like the 'raked' look on these wagons. Nothing better than keeping that big rear end up in the air.

| You need to give us a better side view to show that "rake." | |

"Can I keep it? It followed me home!"

| Nick, I really like how it came out. Anything besides an alignment required after the install.
Oh and I feel your pain on trying to get the ABS sensors out without destruction. It is almost impossible after it's been in there a while ESP on a northern car they fuse to the arm. Fleetwood rear sensors are now Unobtainable. I have found a few in California but that is it.
I like the Idea of keeping the stock suspension travel with the lowered look. Is there any drawback besides the cost of the lowered spindle and the occasional speed bump.

Not so far doug,... definite toe in was needed,.i have some toe in(1/2"0 but the steering wheel ended up a little off centre after i was done fiddling around,.. it translates to a little more because i went centre to centre on the tires,.so it's going for a decent alignment,. The blue wagon has proper wagon eibachs with a 3" drop,.i had to put different bolts in to get the right camber,. it has bilstein tooth breakers, but rides very nice for a lowered car,.eibachs really are worth the money,. I had a bad experience with some lowering springs before, not variable rate and the 'pogo' type oscillations were horrific,.something i see quite often with lowered ricers,.the fore and aft bouncing,. This orange wagon rides nicer ,. it's a combination of factory springs with the bilstein tooth breakers too,.so its a good compromise. still leans abit even with the hotchkiss monster barin the rear, on a long hard sweeper,. but for quick short twisties its great, being a daily driver cruiser, i like the ride this way,. I don't like the squishy shifts from the trans,.or the squishy brakes,. all things to be done sooner or later,. I have a my old 95 9c1 in the barn with its big brakes, done trans,. better steering box,. so my son and I have kicked around the idea of knocking the sedan on the head and robbing the carcass, maybe selling the 12way grey bonnies etc,.along with the impala SS interior,. he wants to add one of the spare T56's to the orange car too,.but really i,m lazy, and i kinda like the auto,.

| I have installed Belltech lowering Springs on the front of my 92 OCC. Very bouncy but I never upgraded the shocks. Lowered spindles on a 94 RMW and the ride was great. Even with OE shocks! Now I have another 92 OCC that needs good rake. Just can't find a great deal spindles. May give those Hotchkis Springs a shot! | |

| If you put 2 inch drop springs in, remove 1/8 inch of shims from all of the stacks, and your alignment will be back where it started. I am looking for a set of 1 inch drop springs, and have a pair of new 2 inch (gray) drop springs to trade. If you have used ones, I may want a something for the difference. | |
