| So I went up to the Texas Hill Country over the holiday week. Took all my kids to Enchanted Rock for hiking, and then surprised my oldest son Eddie with a black 1978 Buick Electra wagon project car for he and I to restore. Father and son wagons! Was so excited!! It was a great time, right up until we went to drive home and a deer used my beloved 1996 Roadmaster wagon to commit suicide. The older members on this group know my car well, and how much I love it. I'm SICK about this. Hit Bambi at 70mph, about 15-miles east of Johnson City. Nobody was hurt, (which is what matters the MOST), and thankfully the airbags didn’t go off, but my I now have TWO Buick station wagon projects at my house. My wife is SO happy… Kinda put a damper on my Christmas spirit, but again, at least we are all ok, and I’ll fix my favorite white-whale soon. It WAS a nice holiday other than the drive home. Never a dull moment. Hope ya'll had a great holiday! -Mike | |

The orange wagon hit a deer too,.. DANG I didn't know the orange wagon got a deer! That's terrible! How bad? I'm going to order a radiator and condenser from Rock Auto. Happily B-bodies are common here, and most are rust-free, so unless Rock Auto is super-cheap, will most-likely go nab a support at Wrench-A-Part or Pick-N-Pull. I'm going to look at this car tomorrow, and if the wood is decent will be yanking the fender and hood. Fingers are crossed! [img] -Mike | |

| It's just a small wound, Jay shared the picture on GMSB last week, I felt bad because I drove mine to work that day.
Congrats on the '78, seeing your previous work it should be awesome!
