| It’s a good thing it was disconnected before you got it! It’s the remote detonator arming switch that came with the “Bond-007” option package! In reality, I’ll bet that it was a hidden anti-theft switch, possibly disabling the ignition or starter. I installed a hidden switch in my ’86 Buick Estate wagon that connected into the electric lock system, unlocking all doors at the same time. Mine was an invisible push button, at the driver’s edge of the windshield hood flare. I installed it, since in my business, I was constantly unloading materials in and out of the car, and had security concerns, in certain areas. This was before remote “fobs”. | |
