Help identifying missing vacuum hose Empty
PostSubject: Help identifying missing vacuum hose   Help identifying missing vacuum hose Icon_minitimeMon Mar 21, 2016 9:37 am

Howdy all-

While going over my new 96 RMW this weekend, I found a missing vacuum hose going into the valve on the front top left of the engine. The elbow comes out of the bottom of the valve. I couldn't find anywhere else on the engine where the other end was also missing, and I don't have my FSM yet. Where does this missing line run to? It's a little hard to see in the pic, but it's the elbow coming out of the valve to the left, and in the shadow.

Thanks!

If I remember correctly that is a "vent" or breather tube for the vacuum switch . Seen the same thing on vortec trucks .You're not missing any lines
