| After the last two years, a number of folks mentioned that they wouldn't mind spending a few more dollars for better quality of steak. We the organizers have listened and fabulous Chef Fred, has gotten us 6oz Prime cut Filets cut to order. They definitely cost more but the quality will be top notch. Also, we will be skipping the bacon this year as the grill we are using doesn't have an open flame and well the bacon comes out kind of rubbery. If you still HAVE to have bacon, I'm sure we can buy a pkg when we make the grocery run Sat afternoon.
We have ordered 28 of these wonderful chunks of beef, and I will still be going to pick up the sausages as usual.
That all said, we won't be able to do it for the $10 price this year, as the steaks by themselves will be about double what I paid last year. Also it's Sharon's birthday Saturday, so we will get her a cake. Considering, that a Filet dinner in a restaurant would cost in the mid $30s range, we think a bump to $15 isn't crazy considering the quality of the steaks (and I'll go a premium Argentinian Sausage that is Waaaay better than the Italian ones we have had in the past).

| Also if you have small kids, we won't charge full price for them. We are not making any profit on this at all. Just covering the cost of the food, and if lucky, the flamingos, and the propane I have buy for my buddy to let me use his grille. | |

| John, the cost is not important, as I will most likely eat whatever I pay for LOL.
I will also be bringing my small grill with me this year.
