The po deleted my cabin filter all together but I pulled it because the max fan setting is somewhat marginal.. My question is, are the fan settings comparable to modern cars?

The B-bodies did NOT come with a cabin filter. These filters are a "new" thing.

These cars vent systems were always described as "adequate" at best.

Thanks guys, I assumed it had one because it had the access panel.. Anyhow, the fan speeds are liveable and it's blowing 40° on the highway and 55° sitting at the vents in Alabama at 95° Temperatures outside..

Thanks for the link Fred!
