| This is one of my theoretical plans that hopefully will come true one day... My plan is to get a 1996 RMW, get the 4-inch lift kit from StreetTrends with their lifted shocks and trailing arms, then straight-pipe the exhaust, and put a CB radio in the dash and run wiring to a whip antenna by the taillights. Also, the StreetTrends Dominator or Ram-Air hood will also be added on. There's other things on the list too, just simple stuff like a MSD opti and ignition stuff and train horns Poor MS paint "rendering": This is one of my craziest ideas by far but I hope to go through with it one day. In a few years from now this might turn heads at a wagonfest perhaps | |

| Someone stuck a wagon body on a 4WD chassis, and made a snow plough. I do not think he had the antenna. | |

Different strokes for different folks I guess... personally I'd love to cruise around in a 4" lifted RMW with mud tires and a big ol CB with a whip antenna LOL

| Fred used to have one of these abortions that he used to clear the snow at his lot in Waterloo. Essentially just slapped a wagon body onto a 4X4 chassis.

Bill LOL! It just sounds like something that would be fun to drive for me. I'll just use the stock chassis with this lift kit: http://www.streettrendsinc.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=BBODY&Product_Code=15318Then do 235-75-15 mud tires, dominator hood, do my in-dash CB radio with the rear glass 5' whip antenna, and then my simple engine and exhaust stuff. It'll be my RWD mud wagon Again, a rough drawing:

LOL what I'm planning won't even come close to that... again I plan to do the 4" lift kit on the stock RMW chassis, throw some 235-75-15 mud tires on Cragar Soft 8's, and do a hood scoop and cb whip

| A guy in Hawaii built something similar a couple years ago. I think it was on this forum...he painted a storm trooper head on the hood. It was a white 1992 RMW if I remember correctly. | |

Well I never knew about that so this is an original idea as far as I'm concerned. I guess it's true what they say, great minds think alike! All I need is some surfboards on my roof year-round now. (Jk)

| What I'm going for with this parts list is a good balance of performance, comfort, conveinience, and that "beach car" look. Might throw these on the list too: | |

This parts list is just planning ahead as of now. Thanks for mentioning that though. On those wheels would the all-terrain tires look weird or should I spring for a sportier tire like the Cooper Cobra 235/70/15 ?

| I like both my "beach wagon" idea and after seeing that other thread on that lifted wagon I really like that too... I might have to buy two wagons and have two custom project cars lol | |

| i think im going for the same thing kinda. i just got my 96 rmw and im thinking a Tahoe frame. i dont want it to be sky jacked but be 4wd and driving the wagon seems a little low but i love the look and ride. i think when i put mine on a new frame the ride will be even better as the stock suspension is kinda sloppy. i have seen some ppl put it on a suburban frame and thats cool but will take a lot of mod work with shortening the frame and making a custom fuel tank. i dream about a lick and stick bolt on frame but i dont think i will get that lucky. | |
