| Starting a thread under 2017 for the WF Florida. When: March 24-26, 2017 Where: Daytona International Speedway, Daytona Beach, FL Host Hotel: TBA, but hoping the Best Western like last two years. More info coming in January Cost: You must register with the Turkey Run if you want to drive your wagon onto the show field (does NOT have to be show quality) Turkey Run Registration. When registering you are NOT part of a club. Also despite what the website says, we never had an issue with people getting in that were PRE REGISTERED. We strongly recommend that PRE REGISTER as we have had people turned away the day of that were not pre registered. | |

| Last year I pre-registered the 91 OCC, they even have a picture of the 91, and they did not know the difference between the customized red 91 and my ratty white 92 at the check-in. They just knew it was a wagon. Registration starts Jan 1.
I will be there with the 91 OCC with the BBC this year. If anyone needs parts I can bring them along.
We need to determine if we are going to have the cookout, or go to a restaurant. I am willing to pick up steaks, and do the cooking, if someone will bring a large enough grille. If we are going to do the cookout, we need to co-ordinate the side dishes, and have everything ready to start at about 5:00~5:30 to make the local one day people happy. Wives and girlfriends seem to have a better handle on what to get for side dishes. We will also need a fairly accurate account of attendees for the cookout, if we are having it. I hope we can decide one way or the other early on.
I really like the BW, so I hope we can set that up again.

| I need someone who is going past/to VA to transport a few parts on their way home from Wagonfest. The town is Bedford, VA. He is willing to meet somewhere along the way. | |

| I would say we are in search of a grille or a restaurant as the grille that failed last year has not and will not be replaced (It was a friend on mine's and he isn't getting a new one). As I have small grille for personal use, I don't plan on buying one, just for WF, nor is it big enough for the task at hand.
So.....I put the call out for a portable grille, that can cook enough for at least 20-30 people.
I do enjoy the BBQ over a restaurant but that's a personal preference...

Ok, sent you a PM So apparently Santa drives a Green and Red Wagon....Chris generously donated a lovely new grille for WF. I don't know if we will have time to paint it DGGM prior to WF.

| Thanks Chris! Hopefully I won't have to beat the regulator on the concrete to get it working again this year | |

Don't know yet. Plan was to take his clamshell but it blew a cylinder out. If we can rebuild it in time maybe that, my olds is the backup for now.

Either way, his clamshell or your cool Olds, it will be good to see you guys and whichever car brings you again.

| John, did you ever think of putting some info for Wagonfest on the Cadillc forum page? We might get a few more folks to show up. | |

No, I hadn't. Tell you what, you go right ahead and promote it over there and anywhere else you think it makes sense. I can only do so much, so feel free to help spread the word as this is a community effort, you don't need to ask permission to do so, just go for it.
