Oil cooler adapter Empty
PostSubject: Oil cooler adapter   Oil cooler adapter Icon_minitimeSat Apr 01, 2017 5:21 pm

Got the car apart. Replacing the radiator, water pump, upper and lower rad. Hoses, and oil cooler lines.

My question is: I've removed the hex head bolts in the oil cooler adapter. Do I need to remove the hex above the oil filter threads? Is that threaded into the motor? Because with those two hex headed bolts out, it's still solid!

Thanks
Don

Did a search and found the answer. Put the filter back on and rubber mallet it loose. Of course the only gasket set I have is the Dorman set!

Taking pics will try to post after I'm done.
