Fun Roadmaster Comparisons - Hey where'd Yugo??

So had a fun evening yesterday.   Met my wife at my parent's house for my kid-brother Dave's 39th birthday.   He's still a brat..ha.    Anyway I parked my Roady nose-to-nose with my wife Misty's Enclave...and when I came out after dinner, I got a kick out of the Buicks GLARING at each other.    Fun Stuff, Ha!


THEN I took my son Tuck of to my car-friend Brandon's house to see his newest toy.   He has an really clean '89 C4 Corvette, a 54 Chevy Pickup with an LS and Jag E-type rear end, but his newest toy is....wait for it....a 1989 Yugo GVX!    The communist VW GTI!  Ha!   He bought this thing in DENVER, flew up and DROVE it back to Austin!   And folks think I'm crazy!  





My son Tuck got a huge kick out of the Yugo, and I actually got a laugh too...had not sat in one in years.    Instead of the 1.1 carb'd 4cyl, the GVX had a 1.3 fuel-injected Fiat X1/9 engine.  Woo-Hoo!  Fun Evening!

Hahaha! I wondered if anyone still bought Yugos. I'm surprised that any of them still existed, and I'm especially surprised to see one thise clean! That is definitely your buddy's most unique vehicle!
